Websites for florists
Florist websites that sell bouquets online
Flowers are often bought in a hurry. Someone remembers a birthday at lunchtime, or hears sad news and wants something sent today. When they search for a florist, the one who makes ordering easy usually gets the sale, and that should be you rather than a national website that passes the order on to a local shop and keeps a share.
A catalogue that sells
Start with a small, well-photographed range rather than everything you could make: a couple of hand-tied bouquets in different sizes, a box arrangement, a plant or two, and a “florist’s choice” option using the best of the day’s stems.
Every design needs a price for each size, a photo of your own work and one honest line about substitutions. Something like: “Flowers vary with the seasons, so we may swap a stem for something just as lovely in the same colours.” Told upfront, customers rarely mind.
Make delivery information clear
This is where most florist websites go wrong. Say clearly where you deliver, what it costs and how much notice you need, including on Sundays and bank holidays. If you offer collection, say when.
Think too about what you need to know for every order: the date, who it’s for, where it’s going and what the card should say. Tell us, and we’ll agree how the site asks for it.
Taking orders and payment
Bookings or orders are part of our Business package. Premium, at £190 + VAT, adds integrations for bookings and payments, so if you’d like customers to pay online, that’s the package to discuss with us. We’ll confirm in your quote exactly what’s included. Orders through your own site don’t go via a marketplace, so nobody in the middle takes a share. If customers pay online by card, your payment provider still charges its normal processing fee.
Plan for the busy dates
Valentine’s Day, Mothering Sunday and the run-up to Christmas can make or break a florist’s year. A website lets you show a seasonal range and tell people early when to order, rather than explaining it again and again on the phone. On Business and Premium your range and prices are easy to edit, so a Mother’s Day collection can go up in February and come down again afterwards.
Sympathy, weddings and events
Funeral flowers need a different tone. Keep that page calm and simple, with a phone number in plain sight, because many people would rather talk it through. Ask for the funeral director, the date and any wording for the card, and leave the rest to a conversation.
Weddings and events are the opposite: people are planning months ahead and want ideas. A page showing your style, real past work if you have it, and a form asking for the date, venue and budget is enough for a first call.
Being found by people nearby
When someone searches for a florist near them, Google relies heavily on your Business Profile. The Business package includes optimising it: categories, photos, hours, descriptions and posts. We can’t promise a position on Google; nobody can. An accurate profile and a fast site are the parts you control.
Which package fits
Start, at £110 + VAT, gives you a one-page website with a map, your hours, a “Call now” button and a contact form; enough if most orders come by phone. Business, £160, adds up to five pages, an easy-to-edit menu or service list, bookings or orders and Google Business Profile optimisation. Premium, £190, adds integrations for bookings and payments, animations and bespoke design, and two language versions. The care plan is £9.50 a month. Frequently asked questions
Can I change my range and prices for Valentine’s or Mother’s Day?
Yes, on Business and Premium the menu or service list is easy to edit. With the care plan we can also make small changes for you.
Can I take payment online?
Premium includes integrations for bookings and payments. Tell us how you take payment now, and we’ll confirm in your quote what we can set up.
Can the site show where I deliver?
Yes. We’ll write your delivery areas and charges clearly on the site, so customers outside them know to call you first.
Will it work alongside a relay network or marketplace?
Yes. You don’t have to leave anything you use now. Your own site simply gives customers a direct way to order from you, without a middleman taking a share.
Tell us about your flower shop
Send a WhatsApp or use the enquiry form. Tell us whether you deliver, how far, and roughly how many designs you’d like to sell online. We’ll reply with a free quote, usually within one working day.
Indicative prices, excluding VAT. Your final quote depends on scope and is always agreed upfront.
