Websites for restaurants

Restaurant websites that fill tables, not delivery apps

Most people decide where to eat on their phone, often standing on the pavement or sitting in the car. They want to know what’s on the menu, whether you’re open and how to get a table. Make them hunt and they book somewhere else.

What diners actually look for

The menu comes first. Not a blurry photo of the printed one, and not a PDF to pinch and zoom. We build it as a proper web page: readable on any phone, visible to Google and quick to change when the specials do.

After that come opening hours (bank holidays and the odd early close included), where you are, whether there’s parking, and an obvious way to book. A “Call now” button at the top of the page sounds basic. It’s also one of the things people tap most.

Small details matter more than they seem: walk-ins, a table for twelve on a Saturday, dogs on the terrace, step-free access. A sentence on each saves you a lot of phone calls.

Table bookings without the back-and-forth

How you take bookings is up to you, and the website should make that way obvious. Bookings or orders come with our Business package, and Premium adds integrations for bookings and payments. Tell us how you take bookings today and we’ll confirm in your quote exactly what we’ll set up.

Your own ordering, without a cut on every order

Delivery apps are good at getting you found, but an expensive way for regulars to order: commission comes out of every order and the customer belongs to the app.

Premium includes a QR menu and commission-free online ordering. Orders come straight to you, and the customer stays your customer. If you take card payments online, your payment provider still charges its normal processing fee, but no marketplace takes a percentage in between. You can keep the apps for new customers and send regulars to your own site. If you’re more takeaway than sit-down, our page on commission-free takeaway websites goes into ordering in more detail.

Allergens and dietary labels

Mark dishes clearly (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free) and say how to ask about allergens. On Business and Premium the menu is easy to edit, so when a recipe changes, updating the allergen notes is quick. The details themselves always come from your kitchen.

Google Business Profile does half the work

Lots of people never reach your website. They see your Google listing, check the photos and reviews, and decide there. So the Business package includes optimising your Google Business Profile: categories, photos, hours, descriptions and posts. Your site and profile should always say the same thing.

We can’t promise a particular position on Google; nobody honest can. We can get the basics right: a fast site, clear structure and consistent details.

What it costs

Start, £110, is a one-page website with a map, your hours, a “Call now” button and a contact form, fine for a small place with a short menu. Business, at £160, is what we’d suggest for most restaurants: up to five pages, an easy-to-edit menu, bookings or orders, Google Business Profile optimisation and help with the copy. Premium, £190, adds the QR menu with commission-free online ordering, two language versions, bespoke design and integrations for bookings and payments. Prices exclude VAT; the optional care plan is £9.50 a month. See the full pricing.

To be clear, the designs on our homepage are concept designs, not client sites.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the menu and prices myself?

Yes, on Business and Premium. On the care plan you can also send us changes and we’ll make them.

Do I have to stop using Just Eat or Deliveroo?

No. You can keep the apps and use your own site for regulars who’d rather order direct. You decide the balance.

Can you put our menu on a QR code for the tables?

Yes. A QR menu is part of Premium, together with commission-free online ordering.

How long until the site is live?

Usually 7 to 14 days from our first chat. Having your menu and photos ready speeds it up.

What do I need to send you?

Your current menu, opening hours, a few photos (good phone photos are fine to start with) and how you take bookings now. We’ll help with the wording.

Tell us about your restaurant

Send us a WhatsApp or use the enquiry form. A rough idea is enough: what kind of food you do, how you take bookings now, and whether you want online ordering. We’ll reply with a free quote, usually within one working day.
