Websites for takeaways
Take orders online without paying commission
If you run a takeaway, you already know the figure that hurts: what the apps take from every order. This page is about keeping more of that money by taking orders through your own website, either alongside the apps or instead of them.
Start with your own numbers
Before you speak to us or anyone else, pull last month’s statements from each app you use. Add up the commission and any extra service or marketing fees. Then think about how many of those orders came from people who already knew you: regulars, neighbours, someone who kept your flyer on the fridge.
Those are the easiest orders to move. They didn’t find you through the app; the app was just the button they happened to press.
Now compare that monthly total with a one-off £190 + VAT for our Premium package, which includes commission-free online ordering, plus £9.50 a month if you want us to host and look after it. Every contract is different, so we won’t guess your figures, but the sum is quick to do.
How ordering on your own site works
Premium includes a QR menu and commission-free online ordering. Orders come straight to you, there’s no marketplace in the middle taking a cut, and the customer stays your customer rather than the app’s. If customers pay online by card, the payment provider still charges its usual processing fee, the same kind of fee you already pay on the card machine.
Every takeaway runs a little differently, so tell us how yours works now: what you sell, how busy the evenings get, and how you take orders today. We’ll be clear in your quote about what the ordering setup covers before you commit to anything.
Getting regulars to order direct
A website alone won’t change habits. A few cheap things do most of the work:
- a QR code on the menu that goes in every bag, linking straight to your ordering page
- the same code on flyers, the shop window and the counter
- one line on the box or receipt: “Order direct next time”
- your Google Business Profile pointing to your own ordering page as well as the apps
You’re not trying to beat Just Eat or Deliveroo, just giving regulars a better way back.
A menu that works on a small screen
On a phone, a long menu needs structure: clear sections, prices that are easy to spot, and options that make sense without a phone call (“Large, half and half, extra cheese”). We’ll organise yours so it scrolls quickly and the popular items are near the top.
Give allergen and dietary information its own clear place on the menu, too. On Business and Premium the menu is easy to edit, so when a recipe or supplier changes, updating it takes minutes. The information itself always comes from your kitchen.
Which package fits a takeaway
If you mainly want people to find your number, your hours and your menu and then ring you, Start at £110 can be enough. Business, at £160, gives you up to five pages, an easy-to-edit menu, bookings or orders, Google Business Profile optimisation and extended local SEO. For a QR menu and commission-free online ordering, plus integrations for bookings and payments, Premium at £190 is the one to look at. Prices exclude VAT and are always agreed upfront; see the full pricing. If you also have tables to fill, read our page on restaurant websites.

Frequently asked questions
Is it really commission-free?
Yes. We don’t take a percentage of orders placed through your own site. If customers pay online by card, the payment provider charges its normal processing fee, just as it would on a card machine in the shop.
Can I keep Just Eat, Deliveroo or Uber Eats?
Of course. Many keep one app for new customers and move regulars to their own site over time.
Can I take payments online?
Premium includes integrations for bookings and payments. Tell us how you take payment now, and we’ll confirm in your quote what we can set up.
Will people still be able to phone in orders?
Yes. Your phone number stays easy to find, with a “Call now” button. Online ordering is an extra way in, not a replacement for the phone.
Do I need to reprint my menus?
Not necessarily. A QR sticker on your current menus and flyers is enough to start. Next time you print, add the code to the design.
Let’s look at your ordering
